one family.

We are a new and growing family of missionary servants to Greater Portland. A family, because in Jesus we all have a place of belonging where sharing each others' joys and bearing each others' burdens every week is deeply anticipated. Missionaries, because like Jesus who entered our broken world in order to invite us into a restored world and new way of life, has also sent us into the lives of others' to love in word and actions. Servants, because Jesus countered culture, showing that serving is better than being served. We gladly strive to live not for ourselves, but for Him, for the prosperity of Greater Portland, and for you. Resurgam is the Latin motto of Portland, meaning, "I will rise again." Like the cities' resilient history of rising from the ashes several times and continuing that same desire today, we hope to point others to the One that rose again despite being torn down and who changed the world for the better. Resurgam is not the answer, but we exist to be and do what Jesus did; introducing others to the Kingdom of Heaven that delivered on every promise for personal, societal, and creational renewal.

many communities. four rhythms.

missional community.

Your family of missionary servants living life in and outside of a weekly intimate community of 6-25 others—house to house style or in public spaces.

Your tangible and faithful presence weekly in the life of the local community, workplace, neighborhood, and various relationships, with your missional community.

dna groups.

Disciple. Nurture. Account. Your weekly, nitty-gritty, confidential, deep, discipleship experience with 3-5 others. Following Jesus well is having those that care most about you in your corner regularly.

the gathering.

Our monthly celebration, where all missional communities gather to share His surprising works, reconnect, and find renewal in order to be sent again into the lives of others.

I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But you haven’t believed in me even though you have seen me. For it is my Father’s will that all who see his Son and believe in him should have eternal life. And I will raise them up...
